MIDTOWN FAMILY
WORSHIP CENTER

ABOUT US
Midtown Family Worship Center is a small community with big hearts and hands. We want everyone to feel welcomed and loved - UNCONDITIONALLY.
Our congregation consists of all ages, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
We believe in prophetic ministry that relies on the gift of prophecy and new revelation from God to guide the church to maturity. We also believe that the offices of apostle and prophet are being restored to the modern-day church to encourage and rebuke people in times of trouble or rebellion. True prophetic ministry is the preaching of the Bible accurately and clearly.
Pastor Derrick Lee has established a community connected church. He strives for intimacy and fellowship that a small congregation is able to offer. He desires to see all set free and delivered from the bondage's that keep them from growing.
MISSION STATEMENT
Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age."
Matthew 28:18-30
WHAT WE DO
We serve to establish congregations that maintain their spiritual and relational vitality. The life giving power that faithful people experience together as they passionately pursue God's vision for their life. Our passion is to maintain personal connections, pastoral involvement, member participation, community outreach and to continue to establish this type of church concept throughout the City of Houston.
FIND YOUR FAITH
Sometimes when you are faced with difficult situations, you can lose your faith. It can feel like God is not listening or He simply doesn’t care. However, it’s important to remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not yet seen. It’s also important to realize there’s a power working on your behalf, even when you can’t see it. But when you learn to trust, despite your circumstances, you will see that your faith is still intact – you just have to hold on. You just have to make the choice to believe.
